Boating course offered for teens

DESTIN — Galati Yacht Sales will offer a boating course Saturday for youths 13 to 17 years old.
   
The course will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the dealership at 126 Harbor Blvd. in Destin. The cost is $15.
   
The class is certified by the U.S. Coast Guard.
   
Participants will receive a boating safety ID card, a free T-shirt, lunch and a partial scholarship. When they receive their license, Galati Yachts will provide a day on the water for the class, which will include driving and docking.
