Take a dive into the dark waters of the Blackwater
River State Park – the perfect destination for
visitors that have an interest in water recreational
sports. Visitors of this river park enjoy swimming,
canoeing, paddling, fishing and camping along the river
that features three waterfalls and light rapids. In
1980, the park was certified as a Registered State
Natural Feature for its unique ability to illustrate
the natural history of Florida. In 1982, the state
also recognized one of the many Atlantic white cedars
that line this river as a Florida Champion tree.
Hours and admission:
Open daily from 8 a.m. until dusk; $3 per vehicle
